Fading Motion Tween

You have a double effect in this tutorial, A fading effect with a Motion Tween. To create this effect, follow the steps given below:

1. Open a new Flash document, set the stage size to 700 px X 400 px and the Frame rate to 5 fps.

2. Click File–>Import–>Import to Library, and insert 2 images that are used to create the effect.

3. Create 2 more layers and name them Car, Airplane:

4. Click the Airplane Layer, drag the airplane image you just saved onto the stage, and position it to the bottom most left corner of the stage:

5. Click Frame 20, Insert KeyFrame, and drag the airplane from one corner of the stage to the middle of the stage and change its direction.

6. Now you need to give the fading effect, select the airplane. Choose color from the properties, click the drop down and choose Alpha–>30%

7. Click Frame 30, and Insert KeyFrame. Similarly Insert KeyFrame on Frame 40.

8. Now click anywhere in between 2 KeyFrames and Create Motion Tween.

10. Now the Airplane effect is done now click the car Layer, drag and drop the car image from the library onto the stage.

11. Click the frame exactly above the last frame of airplane layer. So that the motion of the car starts after the airplane.
