Motion Guide

Here�s a flying Airplane depicting a motion guide which you can create using Flash. Follow the steps to create a Motion Guide:

1. Open a new Flash file; Import an image on to the stage.

    

2. Click the image, click Modify –>Convert to Symbol.

    

3. Name the symbol “aeroplane” and choose Graphic as its behavior.

    

4. Go to the Main Timeline, Right click the layer and select Add Motion Guide.

    

5. Automatically another layer is inserted called- Guide:Layer 1.

    

6. Insert a Frame at Frame 70 on the Guide:Layer.

7. Click the pencil tool from the tools window and draw a path for the airplane.

    

8. Click the 1st Frame of layer1 and drag the airplane to one end of your path. While dragging, make sure a bubble appears on the Airplane. The bubble that appears must be placed exactly below the path as shown.

    

9. On the 20th Frame Insert KeyFrame, and create a Motion Tween between the 1st and the 20th Frame.

10. Create another KeyFrame on 21st Frame, and change the direction of motion of the plane according to its path.

    

11. Similarly Insert KeyFrames on frames 35, 36�. 50, 51� 70 and Create a Motion Tween, change the direction of the plane accordingly.

    

12.Save your Work and Test Movie.
